Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney World, Florida is located just across from Downtown Disney and the Disney transportation system makes stops for all the Disney Resorts every 15 minutes or so. That might be why this water park has more visitors than any other in the world but it is a big park and can handle a big crowd. The Water park is especially convenient to the Downtown Disney Hotels, You can be at the gate in just minutes.
The first thing you might notice is the pathways are wider than most water parks so getting around is easier also notice how wide the lazy river is, You can easily pass People that are floating 5 wide, most water parks are half the width of this lazy river.
Ride is good for all ages.
Ride has no height requirement.
Fastpass is available for this ride.
Kilimanjaro Safaris® is located in Animal Kingdom, Disney World and is the most popular ride in the theme park for good reason. It is not only fun and interesting it is the only place in Animal Kingdom that You are guaranteed to see lots of animals. If You are like Me, You have been frustrated in Animal Kingdom, especially in the very hot summer time because You don’t get to see many animals. Animal Kingdom is never the same twice, that is because these animals have there own life, just like We do and some days they just do not want to be seen so they hide. Either they are in the shade and You cannot find them or they are in the water or a cave, its always something! I used to wonder why the line was so long for Kilimanjaro Safaris® and it took many visits before I finally got a fast pass to ride it. Now I know that if You really want to see animals you have to ride this ride. The Animals are treated like royalty but they are fenced in such a way that they are almost always visible to the trucks that transport You through the wilderness.
Boutique bowling Centers are the most popular entertainment trend across the USA right now. Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Downtown Disney has become a top hot spot in its first 2 years. King’s Bowling offers a similar experience on International Drive at I-Drive Live.
Splitsville offers bowling but some of it’s best customers will never bowl. It isn’t that they do not like bowling, it’s that they like going to the restaurant or bar and socializing more than bowling. Splitsville has live entertainment daily and when the weather is nice, You can sit outside and hear some really good artist.
Disney’s Days of Christmas Store, Downtown Disney, Lake Buena Vista, FL
This is a stop that many People make on every Disney Vacation. The store is opened year round and has nothing but Christmas items. T-Rex Prehistoric Family Restaurant in Downtown Disney, Lake Buena Vista, Fl is a dining experience much like Rainforest Cafe, which is actually owned by the same company. The difference in the Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex restaurants is one is based on rainforest animals and one is based on Dinosaurs. Of course T-Rex is the one that is based on Dinosaurs. This restaurant is one of the busiest in Downtown Disney so You must go at an off time or just get on the waiting list, get a cocktail or a beer and sit and enjoy the wait.
