The Orlando Flex Ticket is the best Theme Park Ticket deal all over Orlando if You want to see what else there is all over Orlando besides Disney. I am not telling You that You do not need to do Disney but for about the same price You can get unlimited admission to Universal Studios, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Wet ‘n’ Wild, SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Citywalk. Something to consider for sure if You are going to do other parks besides the Disney Parks.
The ticket is especially good for those that are going to stay on or near International Drive since all the parks included in the Flex Ticket are close by. Once You have Your ticket Your vacation is less stressful, come and go as You please without rush.
I used to buy the Universal Orlando annual passes for Florida Residents when I lived 7 hours away, that is how good a deal it was. But is still a great deal and now that I live 5 minutes away from Universal, I use it much more often. The price of admission has gone up every year now for a the last few and it will likely continue that trend even though I think when it gets closer to 100 dollars that might slow it down, that’s a big number for someone to pay. But the annual passes for Florida Residents is still the way to go if You plan to visit Universal more than 3 times in a whole year, in fact if You get the 245 dollar option that includes parking, You are already money ahead during the 3rd visit. The parking alone cost 16 dollars and that too is likely to go up so just two trips plus parking and You are almost at the annual pass price, You would have to be stupid not to do it. And now that they offer monthly payments it is really hard for anyone to justify not doing it that lives within a few hours of the parks. https://www.universalorlando.com/Theme-Park-Tickets/Annual-Passes.aspx Not a Florida Resident? It is just a little more for You and still a great deal https://www.universalorlando.com/Theme-Park-Tickets/Annual-Passes/Non-FL-Annual-Passes.aspx
Universal annual passes are much less expensive than are Disney’s even though the single day tickets are the same.
There is no guarantee that this will come up again but We are happy to say it is back again this year: If You are a Florida Resident and a Disney fan, You are in luck. Take advantage of the ticket prices or better yet, stay on Disney property and take advantage of both. Even if You are from Orlando, it’s nice to get out of the house and stay at a resort once in a while.
The reason that Disney offers this to Florida residents at this time of year is obvious, it is the least crowded. But this is when the parks are the most fun, when it isn’t so crowded. During this time You can navigate the parks much easier and You can ride many rides in one day, even without using fastpass.
Legoland Florida is located 45 minutes west of Orlando in Winter Haven, Florida.
One LEGOLAND Way
Winter Haven Florida 33884
From Orlando, take I-4 WEST to exit 55 (US Hwy 27 South). Turn right off U.S. Highway 27 at State Road 540/Cypress Gardens Boulevard. Park is four miles on the left.
Legoland Florida is worth consideration on Your Vacation all over Orlando. It is a short drive, no further than Your trip in the other direction to Kennedy Space Center. Legoland took a big chance building this theme park in a time when the recession was still being felt by much of America. The gamble paid off, the rides are among the favorites even compared to the ones all over Orlando. They now have a water park that is doing well also.
Universal Orlando Tickets include Islands of Adventure where Harry Potter is and Universal Studios, where another Harry Potter is almost complete. Islands of Adventure is home to most of the high thrill rides and because it has the original Harry Potter section, it became the more popular park for Universal Orlando. Universal Studios is home to all the movie themed rides and was attracting the older crowd and could not keep up with IOA (Islands of Adventure). In the coming years, more and more money is being put in the Universal Studios park to keep up with IOA. It is nice to have the two park ticket to experience both but if You are only trying to make sure Your teens and tweens are happy, then IOA is the right choice.
Universal Base Tickets This ticket is for You if You have limited time to spend at Universal and are willing to choose just one Park.
Disney World Tickets might be the most complicated of all the theme parks all over Orlando, that is because they have the most parks. Not only do they offer four traditional theme parks, they also have 2 water parks and to add more complications, they also offer single days and up to 10 day tickets. Sounds more complicated than it is, You just need to ask Yourself, How many parks do I want to visit and how many days. You might also want to visit Universal Orlando and/or SeaWorld Orlando, so keep that in mind when planning Your trip. If You only want to go to one park then You purchase a base ticket, if You want to visit more than one park on the same day then get the park hopper. Tip: People that bought the No Expiration option were glad they did and had a less stressed schedule knowing that they could use them another time if they couldn’t find the time to use them on this trip.
SeaWorld Orlando is the only one of the major theme parks that rewards You for buying in advance online directly from them. You can save on the other Theme Parks but not directly from that park. The system of buying directly from SeaWorld Online could not be easier. You just need to print the ticket voucher then go to the Kiosk at the front of the park (never a line, easy to use) and scan Your bar code, in seconds You have Your ticket and You can proceed to the entrance. Can’t print a voucher? No Problem, You can use the code from Your smart phone or if You cannot use either You can bring the credit card that You used to buy the ticket online and matching picture i.d. to the ticket line and they will process Your order and You still save on the online price.
